Roadworks SH1 Racecourse Hill - Starting Mon 28 November

NCTIR have contracted Downer to undertake resurfacing of SH1 on the hill alongside the racecourse.

Work will start on Monday 28 November and is planned to complete on 12 December.

Until work is completed, this section of SH1 will reduce to one lane, with a speed restriction and Stop/Go controls. Expect delays until work is completed.

SH1 is managed by Waka Kotahi, and the project is being managed by NCTIR. Council have no involvement, so if you have any queries regarding the work please contact the number below.
