Proposed Kaikōura Class 4 Gambling Policy

As required by the Gambling Act 2003 and the Local Government Act 2002, Kaikōura District Council is reviewing its current Kaikōura Class 4 Gambling Policy.

Amongst other matters the Policy must state whether Class 4 gaming machines are able to be established in the District, where they may be located, and the maximum number of machines allowed in the District. As a result of the review changes are proposed, including reducing the maximum number of machines from the current maximum of 60, to a new maximum of 27.
