Kincaid Water Scheme Back Online

Good News received this morning that the Waimangarara river has cleaned up faster than expected after the cyclone, and the Kincaid water supply will be back online shortly. It will take some time for the pipe network to refill, so higher properties may not have water until tonight.

There has been some movement of the river bed above the intake and we expect to need a one day shutdown next week while we level out the gravel. We will let you know as soon as we have this confirmed. We are continuing to monitor water quality but have no concerns at this time.
