MainPower Upgrades and Traffic Delays

We wish to advise that MainPower upgrades will soon commence around the State Highway 1, Ludstone road, West End and Whale Station road intersections.

Works are planned to start on the 25th of November and finish on the 29th of November.

A trench will be dug from Ludstone road across SH01 over the bridge and past Whale Station road. This will be used to strengthen the power grid network within Kaikōura.

During construction there will be delays to traffic.
