The results from the annual independent community satisfaction survey for 2023/24 are in. Thank you to 300 plus residents who took the time to provide their feedback. Overall satisfaction with the Council continued to be moderately high (65%), remaining above the national average of 58%. In addition, 13 out of the 23 performance areas measured showed high satisfaction levels above 70%. There is always more to do though.
Our biggest area for improvement remains around our response to requests for service/complaints at 47% satisfaction (our only score below 50%). Our front-line teams get great feedback, but we need to work on ways to ensure that high level of customer experience continues through the whole process for people.
