Submisisons For The Draft Long-Term Plan 2024 - 2034 have now closed
HELP US KEEP MOVING KAIKŌURA FORWARD!
PUBLIC NOTICE OF THE CONSULATION DOCUMENT RELEASE IN SUPPORT OF THE DRAFT LONG-TERM PLAN 2024-2034.
Per section 93B of the Local Government Act (LGA) 2002 the purpose of the consultation
document is to provide an effective basis for public participation in local authority
decision-making processes relating to the content of a long-term plan Consultation Document.
We’re seeking feedback on the options in our draft Long-Term Plan (LTP) 2024-2034.
The LTP is a vital planning document as it’s our blueprint for the coming 10 years that provides
us with a long-term focus for our decision making and budgeting. It sets out the projects
and initiatives we will be investing in, when we’re planning to do the work, how much it
will cost and where the money comes from. The consultation document sets out what we
achieved since the last LTP, what we are consulting on this time as well as information on
challenges and issues we expect over the next 10 years. We’re holding a series of ‘Have
your say’ events where you can give feedback directly to councillors.
